The Metropolitan Opera’s award-winning series of opera transmissions into theaters around the world is shown in 46 countries and more than 1,500 theatres and comes to you now at Orcas Center. With the Center’s new state-of-the-art projector, motorized screen and satellite, Met: Live in HD continues through the fall with the live transmissions from the new 2011-12 Metropolitan Opera season.

In addition to the Met: Live in HD. you can see the National Theatre Live On Screen at Orcas Center.

The National Theatre Live: broadcasts the best of British theatre and includes both new and classic theatre – comedy, drama and farce.

Orcas Center is the singular venue for The Met: Live in HD streaming in all of San Juan County.

Rentals at Orcas Center

The various venues here at Orcas Center are available for rent. The Madrona Room holds 150 people and can be rented with or without the kitchen, and is suitable for meetings, receptions, classes, and presentations. The main Stage Theater seats 213 people and can be rented alone or with the rest of the facility. the Offcenter Stage holds 70 people and is suitable for small performances and classes.
