‘Music of Junk’ Master Class with Paul Snider

Paul Snider will be running a master class showing how instruments built from junk and recycled materials are used in his unique stage show called The Music of Junk. Summer Theatre Arts Camp taught by Tiffany Loney, Stormy Hildreth and Keith Light with special guest Paul Snider will lead kids 8 to 13 in songs, dances and in building musical instruments out of junk. The for–the–public to-observe master class with Snider and some of the campers and their instruments is June 29 at 6:30 pm. A short performance of the full cast of campers will be performed on Friday, June 30 at 3:30 pm on Center Stage.
Paul is a Vancouver-based singer/songwriter/actor. His highly-personal folk rock songs are based on his life experiences, with lyrics that explore family, relationships, and give inspiration to a younger generation. As well as having graced many stages throughout Canada, he has appeared in over 40 films and commercials as an actor. Music awards include the Royal Reel Award at the Canada International Film Festival for his music video Better Than Me, a Thea Award nomination for Best Original Music in a Theatre Production, and Business in Vancouver’s Top 40 Under 40 Award. Paul also builds musical instruments from junk, and has written a touring theatre show called The Music of Junk using these instruments in its orchestra.
