Youth Acting Classes

Acting classes provide children with more than just fun – although that’s certainly a big part of it! Acting teaches kids to adapt to changing situations, work within a group, gain self-confidence, and practice public speaking!

Participants will explore the fundamental skills needed to perform: movement and bodily awareness, vocal control and expression, focus and listening through games and activities designed to bolster creativity and confidence.

Participants will explore and refine their skills and knowledge related to crafting, rehearsing, and performing a cohesive piece. Skills will include script analysis, character development, blocking and rehearsal. Additionally, students will learn about the technical aspects of a production and all the moving parts of a show.
