Join Brendan Cowan with the Department of Emergency Management, Russell Guerry from OPALCO and Chief vanSchaick from Orcas Island Fire & Rescue for a community disaster preparedness forum on Wednesday May 22nd from 5:30 – 7:30pm at Orcas Center.

They’ll be using science, experience, common sense, and practical info to reassure and educate islanders! There are a lot of scary things in the world these days, but their goal is to have a conversation that leaves everyone feeling better and more secure (at least about this one thing)!
