Please join local vocalist Stormy Hildreth and fellow musician Mitch House for an evening of music! With a mix of carefully selected covers and originals songs written directly from the heart, this magical night isn’t one to miss. They will also be joined by several surprise guests throughout the evening.
Hildreth is known on island for her involvement in local theatrical productions at the Orcas Center and her own live concerts. Recently with the pandemic, she has been focused on her education. She graduated from Spring Street International School in Friday Harbor in June of 2020, and in September, she remotely began her first semester at Berklee College of Music. She has been taking a wide array of classes, ranging from music theory and ear training, to music technology and various fascinating liberal arts classes. Her most recent project was a music video filmed with local mastermind Jake Perrine for one of her classes. You can watch the video by clicking on the link above.
This semester, she connected with another student in her songwriting class by the name of Mitch House. House, an extremely talented vocalist and songwriter, is a transfer student from Kirkland. The two of them had been daydreaming about how fun it would be to put on a show together, when they realized they could bring that dream into reality. While classes have been held remotely throughout this past year, Berklee has announced that it will be opening completely in person come Fall of 2021. House will be departing for Boston in late May, with Hildreth following suit a few months later. They are thrilled to share their music with the island in one final going away concert before becoming engulfed in the in person Berklee experience.
