High-energy performances by Time for Three, double bassist Ranaan Meyer and violinists Nick Kendall and Charles Yang, include arrangements of classical and contemporary repertoire, from Bach and Mozart to the Beatles and Katy Perry, along with world premieres by Pulitzer Prize-winning composers and originals by members of the trio.

Time for Three draws much of its energy from the members’ unique musical backgrounds. Ranaan Meyer graduated from the acclaimed Curtis Institute of Music and has performed with the likes of Branford Marsalis and Jane Monheit. Fellow Curtis Institute alumnus Nick Kendall is irreverent, funny, and relentless; he’s become a force for bringing people together through music, on stage and off. The Boston Globe describes Juilliard graduate Charles Yang as one who “plays classical violin with the charisma of a rock star.”
