Participants will learn how to mine their own embarrassing and unexpected moments for comedic material and leave with a draft of one funny true story. \nTuition is $50 to $100\, on a sliding scale. \nCasey Skinner                                                                                                                 \nSkinner is an LA-based comedian who has performed at The Comedy Store and The Improv\, appeared on Bravo\, E!\, Netflix\, and the Netflix Is A Joke Festival\, and produced television for Netflix\, Discovery\, and Max. Known for weaving true crime stories\, absurd humor\, and personal quandaries into his performances\, he brings a distinct voice shaped by unexpected experiences and often explores the darker\, stranger corners of his life with humor. He’s performed in some of comedy’s most iconic venues\, including The Comedy Store and The Improv. Casey’s work has been featured on Netflix\, Discovery\, HBO Max\, Bravo and more! He was also featured in the 2026 Netflix Is A Joke Fest. \nDavid Uhlfelder was raised in the Colorado wilderness. He managed to escape the frostbite and annoying tourists and move to LA to become a comedian. He has now performed at clubs worldwide including The Comedy Store\, The Improv\, Cosmic Comedy in Germany and more! David has opened for Taylor Tomlinson and Trevor Wallace among others\, and performed at the Netflix Is A Joke Festival and SLO Comedy Fest.
