While Orcas Center has been closed to the public, volunteers and staff have been hard at work — renovating the theater, retrofitting some of our systems, and refreshing the whole facility. We’ve painted walls, refinished floors, installed new art panels, and retrofitted lots of lighting fixtures with LED bulbs. We’ve also updated our commercial kitchen, upgraded the HVAC system, redesigned the tech booth and launched our livestream program. Top that all off with a reorganized costume shop, a repaved parking lot, and – the crème de la crème – the installation of new theater seats!

All of this hard work has put Orcas Center on a good foundation to reopen!
