    The Visual Arts Committee (VAC) is excited to present the next community show art opening: Here Comes the Sun on Friday, November 21 from 5:30pm - 7pm. As the year draws to a close and the days slowly begin to lengthen, Here Comes the Sun invites you to celebrate the return of light, warmth, and renewal through the lens of community creativity. This uplifting exhibition showcases local artists of all ages and backgrounds reflecting on themes of hope, transformation, and the promise of brighter days ahead. Whether inspired by personal growth, seasonal change, or the enduring cycles of nature, each piece honors the resilience and beauty that come with new beginnings.

  • Orcas Choral Society: Midnight Mass for Christmas

    Artistic Director Bruce Langford leads the choir in Marc-Antoine Charpentier’s delightful "Midnight Mass for Christmas," a cheerful setting written in 1694 and based on 10 French carols. They'll be joined by dancers from the Orcas Dance Collective, choreographed by Tiffany Loney. The second half features fun familiar secular carols in inventive arrangements.
