Directed and created by Grace McCune, “Magical Mystery Tour”, is a re-imagined approach to the songs we all know and love from not only the Beatles Magical Mystery Tour album but also selected songs from the vast anthology of the Beatles repertoire. Featuring original choral and band arrangements written by Grace McCune, Stormy Hildreth, and Jim Bredouw. This one-act show has an original storyline, written by Grace McCune and Deborah Sparks, that follows the life of a young musician named Martha (Martha My Dear) who decides to risk her comfortable life to follow her dream of being a professional musician.

All levels of singing experience are welcome. There are no auditions (aside from the advanced choir) to be a part of this show. Just show up and sing with us! Help spread the word and let your friends know—this is a musical journey you won’t want to miss!

Audio Brunch Workshops at Orcas Center
Sunday mornings at Orcas Center from 11am-12pm
June 15th to August 4th

Orcas Center’s Jake Perrine will present ELEVEN Live Sound Basics workshops on Sunday mornings at Orcas Center from 11am-12pm from June 15 to August 24. The workshop is open to the public, and designed for audio hobbyists who want to improve their understanding of how audio works, how to work with it, and improve their audio chops for live events, recording, etc.

Tuition is a WORK TRADE! Anyone present at 11am for the each workshop will learn theory for an hour, and then head down to the Village Green Stage at noon and put their learning into practice by helping set up for the weekly Summer Concert Series show (usually takes about two hours) and / or help break down at the end of the show (usually around 7pm, and takes about an hour). You will learn as much via “hands on” at the stage as you did in the workshop, and you are welcome to ask questions throughout! The Summer Concerts are at 5pm and free to the public. We have a great time, you will learn a lot, and you get to see how to put on a show from start to finish!
