Acting classes provide children with more than just fun – although that’s certainly a big part of it! Acting teaches kids to adapt to changing situations, work within a group, gain self-confidence, and practice public speaking.
Drama 1: Improv is specially designed for youth aged 7-11. Instructed by Jake Perrine and Jamey Moriarity, participants will explore the fundamental skills needed to perform: movement and bodily awareness, vocal control and expression, focus and listening through games and activities designed to bolster creativity and confidence. Classes begin September 13th – Register through the Parks & Rec department.
