Island Sinfonia will present its 2019 spring concert on April 28. Featured pieces include Jean Baptiste Lully’s March of the Turkish Ceremony with circa 1650 props; Mozart’s Ronda a la Turk featuring Jen Utter playing the cello solo; Libertango for winds by Astor Piazzolla; Rosamunde by Franz Schubert, and Vivaldi’s Concert in D. The program is about an hour in length. Natalie Meenan, from Friday Harbor High School, is the concertmaster and this will be her last performance at the Orcas Center as she will be off to college in the fall.
