**Orcas Center’s Tiered Ticket Pricing is based on the needs of your family. The variant in pricing is not based on seat location or dates of performances, rather, what you’re able to afford to help us to maintain our facilities and create quality programming.

Ruth Moody is an award winning singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Canada, celebrated for her angelic soprano voice and effortless command. As a founding and current member of The Wailin’ Jennys, she has garnered two Juno Awards and performed to rapt audiences in sold-out venues around the globe.
Ruth’s solo albums The Garden and These Wilder Things received glowing reception from fans and critics alike. Her collaborations with music legend Mark Knopfler on These Wilder Things and Knopfler’s albums Privateering and Tracker brought her voice to music lovers across the world, and 2015 saw her performing in Europe and the UK in legendary venues such as The Royal Albert Hall, both as a support act and as a member of Knopfler’s band. A respected and accomplished songwriter, Ruth’s songs often sound traditional, tapping into timeless and universal themes, but hold an intimacy and honesty that is unmistakably hers. They have won awards, appeared in film and television and have been performed by countless choirs and ensembles around the world.
Ruth become a mother in 2016 and splits her time between Nashville, Tennessee, and Victoria, British Columbia. She is currently in the planning stages of a new solo album, and traverses the continent on a constant quest for inspiration and beauty.
