Woodstock-generation Donna Sheridan – who cherishes her pop-group past as Donna and the Dynamos – savors life on an idyllic Greek island, running a taverna and raising a love-child
daughter fathered by one of three peripatetic suitors long since forgotten. Or so she thought.
Daughter Sophie, envisioning a perfect wedding where her father walks her down the aisle, chooses to solve the tripartite dad-dilemma by secretly inviting all three – unbeknownst to
Donna who is about to be blindsided.
Near-mayhem ensues when dads, Dynamos and a happy throng of guests converge in force on Donna’s island. Things get sticky as long-hidden secrets emerge, all serving up a surprise change of plans.
