The Orcas Island Food Bank is hosting an afternoon of art, flavor, music and community at the Empty Bowls Fall Fundraiser.
Each ticket buys you a hand-made bowl by a local potter. Come and go between 4 and 7 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 12 in the Madrona Room at Orcas Center as you enjoy soup, bread and live music from Caleb Klauder with Reeb Willms, Summer Barbone and Clint McCune.
The fundraiser is fueled by the generosity and culinary brilliance of three beloved Orcas Island chefs: Avery Adams of Matia Kitchen, Charles Dalton from The Kitchen, and Savahna Schuhmacher of Savory Food Truck.
Joining them is Orcas Bakery, whose artisan breads will be served alongside the soul-warming soups, adding a comforting touch to every bowl. Each dish will be presented in handcrafted pottery made by local artists.
Tickets are $60 and can be purchased at https://m.bpt.me/event/6721272.
