To start the new year, Orcas Center is pleased to announce an exhibit featuring the artwork of Orcas Center’s Visual Arts Committee members. This committee is responsible for organizing the community art shows and featured artist shows throughout the year, and is composed of an eclectic group of artists who work in a wide range of mediums. The participants in this show will be Carol Ann Anderson, Mary Jane Elgin, Sarah Crigger, Leon Rosenblatt, Julie Rusby, Avi Shmueli, Julia Summers, Marjorie Taylor, and Kathleen Youngren.

All are invited to attend the Art Opening on Friday, Jan. 16 from 5:30 to 7 p.m., featuring live entertainment and complimentary refreshments. Artists are urged to attend and contribute hors d’oeuvres.
